Denim and Bone is a UK-based art and design brand offering embroidered, vintage, reworked and contemporary clothing, alongside homeware, accessories and lifestyle products. Our collections celebrate creativity, individuality and timeless design.

2. Acceptance of Orders

By placing an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase our products.

After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation email acknowledging receipt. This does not constitute acceptance of your order. Acceptance takes place only when your order has been dispatched.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order if:

  • A product is unavailable.
  • Payment cannot be authorised.
  • Product information or pricing contains an error.
  • We reasonably suspect fraudulent activity.
  • We believe purchases are being made for unauthorised resale.

If an order is cancelled after payment has been taken, a full refund will be issued.

3. Pricing & Payment

Prices are displayed in your selected currency where a currency converter is available on our website. Currency conversions are provided for convenience only.

The final amount charged will be the amount displayed at checkout. Your payment provider may apply its own exchange rates or charges where applicable.

Delivery charges are calculated separately and displayed before payment is completed.

Payment must be authorised in full before an order is processed or dispatched.

We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout, including Klarna where available.

Although every effort is made to ensure pricing is accurate, errors may occasionally occur. Where an incorrect price has been displayed, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.

In cooperation with Klarna Bank AB (publ), Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm, Sweden, we may offer Klarna payment options.

To enable these services, certain personal information, such as your contact details and order information, may be shared with Klarna so they can assess your eligibility and administer your payment.

We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, images, measurements and pricing are accurate.

  • Measurements are approximate unless otherwise stated.

Denim and Bone offers a range of products including reworked vintage garments, embroidered pieces, contemporary clothing, homeware and accessories.

Individual product descriptions will indicate where an item is:

  • Reworked
  • One of a kind
  • Limited edition
  • Embroidered
  • Made using reclaimed or natural materials

Where these characteristics apply, slight variations in colour, stitching, texture, fabric or finish are to be expected and form part of the individuality of the product rather than being considered faults.

6. Vintage, Reworked & Natural Materials

Many Denim and Bone products are created using genuine vintage garments or reclaimed materials.

Due to their age and previous use, vintage items may display signs of wear, fading, repaired areas or other characteristics that contribute to their history and individuality. These are not considered manufacturing defects.

Products incorporating natural materials, vintage jewellery, bones or skulls may naturally vary in colour, markings, texture or appearance.

Every product is carefully inspected before being offered for sale.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including but not limited to artwork, embroidery designs, garment designs, logos, branding, photography, illustrations, graphics, text and product imagery, remains the intellectual property of Daisy Harkness trading as Denim and Bone unless otherwise stated.

The Denim & Bone trade mark is registered under Registration No. 3235977 in Classes 20 and 25.

No content from this website may be copied, reproduced, distributed, adapted or used without prior written permission.

8. Shipping

Please refer to our Shipping Policy for full delivery information.

Processing times vary depending on the individual product and are shown on each product page.

Orders generally require one working day for processing unless otherwise stated.

Delivery estimates are provided as guidance only and cannot be guaranteed.

Denim and Bone cannot accept responsibility for delays caused by postal services, customs authorities or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Ownership of goods passes to you once payment has been received and your order has been successfully delivered.

9. Returns & Refunds

Eligible items may be returned within the stated returns period provided they are:

  • Unworn
  • Unused
  • In their original condition
  • Returned with original tags where applicable

Refunds are normally processed within 5–7 working days of receiving and inspecting returned items.

Items that have been personalised, commissioned or made specifically to your requirements may not be eligible for return unless faulty.

Responsibility for returned goods remains with the customer until they have been safely received by Denim and Bone. We recommend using a tracked postal service.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights.

10. Faulty Items

If you believe an item is faulty, damaged or not as described, please contact us as soon as possible at info@denimandbone.com.

Where a fault is confirmed, we will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

11. Order Changes & Cancellations

Once an order has been placed, it enters our fulfilment process and cannot normally be amended.

If you require an urgent change, please contact us immediately. While we will always do our best to help, changes cannot be guaranteed once an order has been submitted.

12. Product Care

Customers are responsible for following any care instructions supplied with their purchase.

Failure to follow the recommended care instructions may result in damage that is not considered a manufacturing fault.

13. Website Use

By using this website, you agree not to:

16. Fragile Items

Certain products, including vintage jewellery, skulls and other decorative pieces, are naturally delicate and should be handled with care.

Denim and Bone cannot accept responsibility for damage resulting from accidental breakage, misuse, normal wear or improper handling after delivery.

17. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to fulfil our obligations where such delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, fire, flood, industrial action, pandemics, supplier shortages, transport disruption or governmental restrictions.

18. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.

Any changes will take effect immediately upon publication on this website. The version published when you place your order will apply to that purchase.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

20. Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions, together with our Shipping Policy, Returns & Refund Policy, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Denim and Bone regarding your use of this website and any purchases made through it.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
