Denim and Bone is an art and design brand specialising in embroidered jackets, cool as clothing, bohemian wall art and hand made ceramics.
Founder Daisy Harkness first created Denim and Bone when wanting to find a use for the fabrics she had gathered along her travels. Using her old beat up denim jacket she created her first Denim and Bone piece. From there her designs developed and embroidery became her tool of choice. Daisy's work has been seen on the likes of Fearne Cotton, Holly Willoughby and Emma Willis just to name a few.
Denim and Bone is not a fast fashion brand. Each piece is hand made, thought through and painstakingly created. Nearly all of the jackets Daisy uses for her embroidered designs are vintage and army surplus. Daisy’s aim is not to impact our already under stress earth and use what we have, find the beauty in the old and give it a new lease of life.
Daisy not only wanted to create and sell items she loved, and you couldn’t find in any old shop, but she wanted to create pieces with meaning. Her embroidered jackets are adorned with intricate embroidery and feel good phrases, each candle and mug decorated with positive quotes for strictly Good Vibes Only.
